Mikaku Sushi

Food is really good but they don't bring all the plates at the same time. So if you buy something warm and someone else gets sushi they're gonna be done eating half an hour before your food even gets there!

We went with the whole family to have dinner on a Wednesday night. The restaurant gets pretty busy, so you may want to have a reservation, to be sure, specially if you have a big party. Atmosphere The location is quite nice, with a lot of space even around the restaurant. The decor is discreet, the place is not too loud and the light is adequate. Service The food arrives fast and the staff is friendly and polite. The orders are carried out by a tablet. The menu is a mess, it's not understandable why you have a numbered menu, and you don't organize the options in numerical order. It seems pretty obvious, however, if you can find an item on the printed menu, it's not a guarantee that you'll find them on the tablet, because someone had the idea of shuffling around the numbers. Food The food is alright. Not spectacular. However, the dishes are tasty and well presented. One thing that an Asian-themed restaurant can't do, is to blatantly dilute the soy sauce to this level. The sauce is so diluted that is barely dark and barely salty. It's surprising to me that a restaurant spends this much in location and decorations, and then, try to save bucks by diluting the soy sauce, or outright buying bad quality options. The wasabi comes in a plastic sachet, like mayonnaise, another negative. In a cuisine that uses a white rice as base this heavily you can't cheap out on the spices, otherwise you end up with a bland product. I have an assumption that we crave sushi from time to time precisely because of the soy sauce. It's not a bold statement to imagine that your body needs sodium at a given moment and you will feel appetite for a sushi place, that's how important the sauce is. If you try to saciate that craving and find a mild soy sauce you are bound to go home disappointed. Having said that they have wonderful dishes. Like the pumpkin flower with truffle, really not to be missed. The fried shrimp was fried to perfection. Right amount of coating, crunchy, tasty and perfectly cooked. So, basically, they did all the hard work very well. Overall Just about recommended. The ambience and location is great. The food is discreet. The price is very competitive, though. It gets 4 stars for offering an all you can eat menu for 25 Euro. While the price stays on this level, it deserves 4 stars. Whey they reach 29, you'd be looking at 3 stars and a not recommended sign from my side. So far, good enough, I'd go again at this price rather than driving to Wiky.

Really good value for money, and they had so many different options to choose from. Also good variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes. The saki was amazing! Staff also amazing and super helpful.

Great service and very nice food. Easy to order as all orders are made on the tablet, and each dish has a picture. We could choose to sit inside with air-conditioning or outside. I am very pleased with the service.
